Big 5 Pumps began with a simple goal: provide local agriculture with a competitive, affordable choice for irrigation and water well products. Founded in 2018 by David Peters and his family, Big 5 was built on putting the customer first and delivering value to farmers, ranchers, and dairies. By partnering with industry expert Willy Koethler, Big 5 helped to grow a strong, competitive irrigation market in the Panhandle.
In September of 2024, following a fire at Dallam Irrigation, Big 5 acquired their inventory, assets, and Valley dealership, allowing us to expand our capabilities even further. Today, we’re proud to be a Valley Irrigation dealer and a leader in Dalhart’s irrigation, agricultural, and electrical markets, with products and services that meet a wide range of needs. Our focus has always been to build real relationships—not only with our customers, but also with other businesses. With the same steadfast team and an expanded product line, Big 5 Pumps remains committed to supporting our community in the best way we can: with quality, honesty, and dependable service that our neighbors can rely on.
